We also thought about who doesn’t run, who will simply accompany the runners, their families and/or their friends. In short, to all those who can use the stay of those days in Val Maira to know, visit and enjoy our beautiful territory.

A concert will be organized on the occasion of the festival at the trail village on Saturday 8 October, in the 4 days of simple and mountaineering excursions, some of which are also offered guided tours in churches and museums of the valley, educational initiatives for families and proposals on the theme of Occitan, both inside the Museo Occitano Sòn de Lenga and outside thanks to the use of the game paths developed for different locations in the valley.

  • Thursday 6 October: Guided hike on the Puy Trail - San Damiano Macra
  • Friday 7 October: Guided hike on the Sentiero dei Giganti - Celle di Macra
  • Saturday, October 8: Excursion accompanied on Monte Maniglia - Acceglio
  • Saturday 8 October: Mountaineering excursion with mountain guide on Rocca la Meja - Canosio
  • Sunday 9 October: Guided MTB and E-MTB tour in the lower valley, with a visit to the main cultural sites of Dronero and Villar San Costanzo. Program being defined, soon available in the list of our organized activities. Possibility of renting E-MTB through the following link.

Moreover, on Saturday and Sunday October 8th and 9th, the local Chestnut Fair will take place in Roccabruna, don't miss the typical "mundaj" and "bignette".

It will also be organized, on October 8, the Occitan Walk of the MOT, a non-competitive walk in company to experience the most picturesque villages of Marmora, animated by old wood-burning ovens put into operation for the occasion to offer hikers bread, freshly baked pizzas and focaccias. An opportunity for those who want to discover the territory in slowness, for families and for all those who love to walk in the mountains but also enjoy the good food of tradition.

Finally, through the collaboration with local realities that operate on the environmental theme, we will raise awareness, with pre-event training sessions and during the same, participants and companions to the delicate needs of the mountain ecosystem to be able to appreciate at best and consciously all the most relevant aspects that shape its fragile balance. In the program, the realization of a day of plogging where participants (adults and children) during the walk will dedicate themselves to collect any waste abandoned along the way.
